Every Summer Term, all pupils in Y2/3/4 and 5 go swimming weekly at Forest High Swimming Pool. We arrange for coach transport and they receive a 30 mins lesson weekly from specialised swimming tutors. There are no costs to parents for this, since it is part of our PE curriculum.
They are regularly assessed to ensure they are making progress and in the correct group.
Non- swimmers and confident swimmers alike are given the opportunity to progress.
If your child has special needs or needs a 1:1, we can arrange for staff to be in the pool with them.
